A 51-year-old man was found with a ballistic vest, baton and steroids at a Bankstown unit. A 54-year-old woman was arrested at a Newington unit where ketamine and MDMA were seized.

Police alleged the two other arrested people were runners working under his direction. All three were refused bail. Skaf did not apply for bail when his case was mentioned in Bankstown Local Court and it was adjourned until August.

Skaf was 17 when he and his brother Bilal participated in gang rapes of at least six schoolgirls in 2000. He was initially sentenced to 31 years but it was reduced to 23 years on appeal. He served 21 years before release in 2021. District Court Judge Michael Finnane described him as a vicious bully, cowardly, arrogant and a liar.
